Opening Reception with music by Premier Recitalist Jacqueline Niemat  with world famous violinist, Jose Cueto on
  March 2nd 2013, 5 till 7PM

When Opera legend Renata Scotto first heard soprano Jacqueline sing in New York she said; “What a truly beautiful voice!”
Ms. Niemat has come to establish herself as one of the premiere recitalists in the Washington/ Baltimore area. Her list of local performance venues include: Strathmore Hall, The Italian Cultural Society, The American Visionary Museum, The Arts club of Washington, The Corcoran Gallery of Art , The Anderson House in Washington, DC and the Austrian, Italian, Finnish, Egyptian and Lebanese Embassies.

Jose Cueto has been admired by both the public and the critics for his "solid technique, as well as his rich and beautiful tone" (El Mundo, San Juan).  STRAD magazine recognized his performance at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall, as "grounded, confident, and superb in all particulars."  Mr. Cueto is concertmaster of Concert Artists of Baltimore and the Chesapeake Festival Orchestra.  He serves as artist-in-residence and head of the strings department at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.  In addition to being a recording artist, he is a lecturer for Peabody’s Elderhostel program.

Musical performances are sponsored by The Vein Clinic of Washington.
